Rooms Manager / Executive Assistant Manager - Operations Responsible for:
The Rooms supervisor assists and reports to the Rooms Manager or the EAM Operations in managing all aspects of the department, managing the department in the absence of the Manager. The mission and intent of Rooms Supervisor is governing the operations of the Cleaning and Laundry department;
ensuring that ourguestrooms, public areas and employee areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and Hyatt standards. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Be responsible for the Housekeeping Department;
Supervise housekeeping staff as duties are being performed and tasks of laundry staff;
Perform daily inspection of all public areas, guestrooms, exterior of building and back house areas, to ensure that the highest standards are met and ensures that all common areas are kept clean and free from hazards;
Organize all staff during the day and host daily meetings with housekeeping staff;
Plan departmentalscheduling (schedules days off, holidays, and vacations, ensuring that facility’s needs are met in accordance with hours and position control);
Plan daily, weekly and monthly assignments and projects for all Room Attendants, Public Area Attendants, Housemen and Laundry Attendants;
Motivate, train and supervise all Housekeeping and Laundry colleagues;
Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry;
Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms;
Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk with questions and basic requests;
Inspect, check and release hotel rooms for arrivals in accordance with set Park Hyatt standards and ensure that rooms are kept clean and free from hazards;
Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments and issues to the next shift;
Stock and maintain supply rooms;
order supplies according to a budget;
Receive, process,and handle guest complaints in regard to housekeeping services. Qualifications:
Previous experience in the same role or similar;
Passion for hospitalityand luxury industry and people-oriented;
