Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Electronic Engineer to join our team and oversee internal and external electronic industrial processes. The successful candidate will be part of the Process team and will collaborate in designing, implementing, and optimizing CNS electronic manufacturing processes. Additionally, they will support continuous monitoring of electronic supplier performances.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Perform tests on new materials, machinery and/or processes to evaluate their performance and prepare detailed reports.
2. Occasionally perform repairs on electronic boards and prepare simple setups.
3. Draft operative procedures and related updates in line with manufacturing process evolutions.
4. Monitor internal process performance, proposing improvements when necessary.
5. Monitor technical performances of electronic board assemblers supporting the Quality team.
6. Collaborate with Design, Production, and Quality teams to improve manufacturing processes using a lean approach.
7. Detect, analyze, and diagnose hardware defects on electronic assemblies, identifying root causes.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
2. At least 2+ years of experience in electronic assembly environments.
3. Strong knowledge of electronic quality standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, ISO 9001).
4. IPC certifications will be considered a plus.
5. Direct experience with manual and automatic assembly processes of electronic components.
6. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and component datasheets.
7. Familiarity with measurement and analysis tools such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and digital multimeters.
8. Basic knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes will be considered a plus.
9. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
10. Excellent communication skills and teamwork mindset.
11. Proficiency in technical English.
