F&M Ingegneria is looking for a professional Project Manager for the Systems sector, for the main office in Mirano (VE).
Based on the indications received from the management, he/she independently manages his/her area and plans the activities of the technical office consisting of design, estimating, and works management.
He/She is responsible for the success of the project and in particular for respecting the deadlines and the quality of the documentation produced.
He/She is responsible for the discipline of his/her collaborators, organizes their training, verifies the quality in relation to the technical aspects and company standards.
* Participation in coordination meetings;
* Definition, in agreement with the management, of the annual budget forecast;
* Drafting of estimates for both design and works;
* Collaboration with the management and the sales office for the drafting of offers and for the screening of tenders;
* Processing of customer requests;
* Definition of the times and costs required for the implementation of the project;
* Scheduling of the work of the technical office with particular attention to the training of the design teams;
* Continuous monitoring of the progress of the works (daily verification of the operators’ activities);
* Participation in routine meetings with the client and in particular in the inspections necessary for the preparation of estimates or for the verification of the works to be carried out;
* Control of the adequacy and completeness of the documents before their issuance;
* Control of the efficiency and profitability of the technical office (weekly report to the management);
* Coordination of the design activities entrusted to external subcontractors.
The ideal candidate meets the following requirements:
* Good knowledge of English;
* Excellent problem solving skills;
* Ability to coordinate and manage the staff;
* Ability to interface with clients and various external interlocutors;
* Knowledge of the IT tools commonly used in design;
* At least 5 years of experience in the role, or 10 years of experience as a senior designer in a design/engineering firm.
