What You Can Expect
Assist in planning, executing, and reconciling logistics for events—virtual, physical, or hybrid—sales & marketing meetings, and congresses. Have an in-depth understanding of the events environment with the skills and industry knowledge to organize events from start to finish. Prepare event budgets, conduct research, and analyze post-event activities. Support the design, facilitation, and implementation of educational experiences for healthcare professionals.
How You'll Create Impact
* Organize and participate in developing meeting goals under MedTech Europe guidelines and Zimmer Biomet standards.
* Assist in planning events and booth development for congresses.
* Prepare preliminary, working, and final budgets.
* Negotiate contracts with hotels, conference centers, vendors, and service providers.
* Manage technology vendors for digital events, including setup and registration pages, ensuring expectations are met.
* Execute on-site activities focusing on customer experience.
* Ensure events align with corporate goals and objectives.
* Develop event materials, manage logistics such as F&B, schedules, and participant lists.
* Interface with internal and external stakeholders, including management, vendors, and clients.
* Handle post-event duties like invoicing, expense analysis, and reporting.
* Analyze event success and prepare reports.
* Collaborate with surgeons, delegates, and marketing teams to deliver event plans.
* Administer engagement order processes and manage financials.
* Ensure participant registration via CVENT and assess instructional materials' effectiveness.
* Communicate effectively with project teams and subject matter experts.
What Makes You Stand Out
Education: Degree in relevant field or equivalent certification.
Professional experience: 3-5 years in meeting and congress planning.
Skills: Proficiency with common software, strategic program management.
Languages: Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
Your Background
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; customer service focus; ability to meet deadlines; proactive problem-solving; successful experience in education management; knowledge of relevant medical fields is a plus.
Travel Expectations
30%+ travel required.
