The Senior SAP Solutions Architect is responsible for business and technical expertise to design, implement and support new business capabilities into Cepheid’s SAP systems and related third party systems. This position will give opportunities to learn new technologies including S/4 HANA migration, GTS, EWM, TM and work on big projects as part of the S/4 HANA Transformation.
This position is part of the Digital Technology Services and will be located Onsite in Lodi, California. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
1. Establish relationships and collaborate with the Global Supply Chain team (primarily in Warehouse and Logistics operations and related Supply Chain functions) and super users, locally in Lodi, California.
2. Design, develop, and test system solutions to address business requirements, in alignment with the global solution template.
3. Configure SAP Warehouse management and Logistics execution module (or other Material Management modules as needed) to meet business requirements, including integration points with other SAP modules or other applications, following SAP best practices.
4. Develop functional specifications for custom developments, and collaborate with the development team to get those built and tested.
5. Provide support to end users for issue resolution, user acceptance testing, and occasionally training.
The essential requirements of the job include:
1. Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Business, (or related) with 8+ years of related work experience OR Master’s degree in field with 6+ years of related work experience in areas focused primarily in SAP Warehouse Management in SAP ECC and S/4 HANA environment and Logistics execution/Shipping functions within manufacturing organizations.
2. 5+ years experience working cross-functionally with Supply Chain.
3. Experience in SAP Warehouse management functional configuration including setup of warehouse org structure, placement and picking strategies, inventory counting and RF barcode scanner solution supporting warehouse processes.
4. Experience with external 3PL warehouse systems integration via EDI/IDOC.
5. Expertise in related areas such as Material Master data, Batch management, Serial number management, Transportation route setup, Reporting, Queries, Delivery processing, Output configurations, WM-PP integration.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
1. Experience and understanding in SAP S/4 HANA upgrade projects.
2. Experience and understanding in SAP EWM, TM, SAP-Processweaver is preferred.
3. Certification in SAP S/4 HANA Stockroom (WM) or EWM module is preferred.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
* Occasional onsite travel will be required based on global project and initiatives.
The salary range for this role is $130K-$150K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. #L1-WT1
