About the location: A rare gem on Florida’s Gulf Coast of Southwest Florida, Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort, is an exclusive collection of 156 luxurious beachfront private residences and a 220-room hotel all within a 125-acre walkable coastal village in the heart of Old Naples. About the role: We are seeking a Director of Public Relations to join our best-in-class pre-opening team This position will be responsible for the development and execution of an annual strategic and integrated marketing plan, comprised of public relations, social media, and marketing communications activities. What you will do: Develop and execute an annual PR strategy in support of the hotel marketing plan. Create innovative publicity programs that will increase awareness and positive perception of the resort. Maximize opportunities for publicity in all media. Maintain professional relationships with media. Take a lead role in crisis communications. Maintain website content and updates. Manage the optimization of product pages and digital advertising. Ensure the resorts web presence aligns with business objectives. Manage the resort's social media and digital efforts. Comply with Four Seasons brand standards for marketing communications. Proofread all marketing material. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director of Marketing. Act as a direct supervisor to the PR & Communications support team. Oversee community relations and CSR initiatives. What you will bring: A minimum of five to seven years' experience in public relations. A university degree in journalism or communications or equivalent experience. Prior experience in a mixed-use residential resort is preferred. Strong and effective interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). A self-starter that can multi-task and prioritize. Proficiency in leveraging social media networks. Strong analytical skills and good business acumen. Visa Requirements: US work authorization is required unless the candidate is currently in a managerial position at a Four Seasons location.
