For our manufacturing plant with over 800 employees in Montecchio Maggiore (VI), we are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support dies engineering activities. Essential Duties: Designs with internal partners/external companies sheet-metal forming manufacturing processes and equipment, implementing bending, shearing, and formability processes to achieve components for the assembly lines that reflect the design intent. Supports the manager in finding the best processes for manufacturing (deep drawing, hydroforming, spinning, etc.) in terms of performance, quality, and economics. Co-designs processes that make use of sheet-metal formed parts like laser welding, machining, and laser cutting aiming to optimize the process. Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools designed or manufactured by system integrators during the FAT/SAT. Analyzes, investigates, and implements corrective action for problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality using DMAIC methodology. Supports Maintenance, Operations, and ESH departments. Provides support to R&D and prototypes department regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. Required Qualifications: Diploma or University Degree in Mechanics. At least 2-4 Years of experience in the same field, preferably in structured companies (mechanical design of machines, equipment, moulds, sheet metal, and plastics - experience in the field of moulds will be considered a plus). Knowledge of CAD 2D (AutoCAD preferred) and CAD 3D software (CREO Parametric preferred).
