Purpose of this job is to establish the system development strategy and to implement the system roadmap in collaboration with the System Design & Architectures group manager, the System Design Authority, System Architects, and System Engineering and Product Development Manager according to the needs defined by the Solution Director / Projects. Moreover, this job will consist of establishing the development plan and work packages, in collaboration with other members of the program core team, and to lead the system development to deliver the system according to the program plan. Responsibilities Include Some of the Following: Take part in Program core team. Apply processes, methods, and tools as referenced by the program development processes. In collaboration with the System Program Manager, the program core team, and with the support of the System Architect(s), define the system development strategy and roadmap for development and sustaining. Define and obtain commitments and maintain WP (Work Package) files (QCD commitments) for the system/sub-system in his scope. In charge of producing and maintaining the System Engineering Management Plan identifying: System development strategy and baselines. Processes and tailoring, and deviations. Technical risks. Specific technical referents (Experts, CCN, end users, etc.). Configuration management plan together with the Configuration Manager. Ensure application of technical decision management, validate decisions together with the program stakeholders. Ensure the organization of System Design Reviews. Organize and lead the system development activities to ensure QCD commitment: Coordinate system development activities (System design & specifications - including activities performed by Participating Units or subcontractors). Organize and conduct CCBs (Change Control Boards) with participation of program stakeholders, including System Application Architects. Alert and report on any event/risks that may impact the system development and associated QCD commitments. Participate in the system development schedule review. Establish consolidated reporting on his/her WPs of the system development. Provide QCD analysis estimation on evolution together with the program core and engineering teams. Organize and lead the system delivery together with the Configuration Manager. With the System Architects, liaise with the System Application Architect for projects and tenders activities (evolutions & anomalies analysis, documentation support). Organize with the System Program Manager the capture and activities for continuous improvement (RoE: Return on Experience, process, metrics, etc.).
