We are currently recruiting for a Pipeline Engineer for our Engineering Centre in Fano (PU). The role of Pipeline Engineer is to design pipe systems for transporting a variety of fluids such as hydrocarbons gas, oil, LPG but also water, slurry, CO2 or Hydrogen. Duties and Responsibilities: Effectively plan out Projects and Tenders in all technical aspects and level of detail Select the best Pipeline Routing according to Project requirements, international standard and local environmental and safety regulations Set-up all Pipeline Construction Drawings such as Alignment Sheet drawings, Typical Drawings, Detail Crossing Drawings according to Project Requirements, Local Regulation and International Standards Pipeline Route Selection by Desktop Studies using GIS Software Pipeline Route verification by Site inspection (Pre-Survey Site Visit) Prepare the Topographical, Geotechnical and Soil Resistivity Survey Specification and Scope of Work to be submitted to Survey Subcontractors Prepare the Project General Specification (Pipeline design Basis, Construction Specification) Design with calculations and drawings the Pipeline special Crossings Prepare the Material Requisition (Technical Specifications, Data Sheets, Inspection DS and Required Document Data Sheet) for all Pipeline material to be purchased Verifies and follow-up the Engineering of subcontracting companies Reviews on a routine base with PSL the project progress and monitor the quantity variations vs project budget Supports the site personnel requests with reference to the implementation phase of the project Assist the pipeline lead or the project engineering manager for solving technical problems arising during project development and for interfacing/supporting the procurement department.
