We are looking for a UX researcher to join our Experience Design Factory (XDF) team, part of the Digital Customer Operations department at Sky Italia. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and delivering strategic research to provide clear and actionable insights to support the design and development of products/services with a strong user experience impact. You will work closely with the UXR Lead, UX researchers, Product Managers, Developers, and our product design Team, ensuring that insights and data drive our design decisions to create meaningful experiences for customers and the business.RESPONSIBILITIESLeadership and planning - Work with teams and stakeholders to identify needs, define objectives, activities, and research roadmaps.Design and conduct studies - Plan and conduct qualitative/quantitative UX research, prepare materials (scripts, surveys...), and facilitate activities, analyze qualitative and quantitative data and synthesize findings into clear, actionable reports, ensuring quality and strategic input.Reporting and presentation - Produce clear and effective reports, communicate results in an effective way (storytelling and data visualization).Cross-cutting analysis - Integrate and reprocess data from different studies to support design and development.Repository management - Structure and store research in an intuitive and accessible way.Innovation and experimentation - Continuously explore new methodologies and research tools to improve processes and ensure the approach is always up to date.GENERAL REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in a relevant discipline - Proven experience of +3/5 years in planning and conducting research in the UX field - Knowledge of design principles (UCD, UX, UI) - Fluency in written and spoken English.Advanced UX research - Proven experience with qualitative and quantitative methods (interviews, moderated/unmoderated usability testing, card sorting, tree testing, etc.) and use of specific tools (UserTesting, Lookback, Maze, Optimal Workshop, etc.).Test management and set-up - Organisation and execution of face-to-face and remote testing with advanced tools (e.g., OBS and Streamlabs, etc.).Eyetracking and Neurotool - Expertise in eyetracker use, calibration, management software, and data analysis (Tobii Pro Lab).Data analysis and synthesis - Ability to process qualitative (Figjam, NVivo, Dovetail) and quantitative data (SPSS, Excel, R, etc.) to extract strategic insights.Storytelling and data visualization - Ability to present clear and insightful reports with effective communication.SOFT SKILLSCritical thinking - Ability to analyze complex problems, evaluate information with a critical and strategic approach, and propose solutions.Proactivity and problem solving - Ability to take initiative, approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset, and find innovative solutions.Adaptability and flexibility - Ability to work in dynamic contexts and evolve with changing requirements.NICE TO HAVE SKILLSAccessibility - Knowledge of principles, guidelines, and tools for assessing and improving the accessibility of digital experiences, with experience of conducting research with disabled users.Prototyping - Ability to create and iterate interactive prototypes using tools such as Figma.Ability to use other neuroscience tools - Experience in using advanced neuroscience tools such as EEG, GSR, and RES to analyze users' cognitive and emotional responses.
