CUSTOMER QUALITY SENIOR ENGINEER
MISSION
Ensure customer satisfaction by supervising the final product’s quality according to the client quality standards, following the control guidelines defined by the Quality Department.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
1. Communicate the claims of the clients in the plant quality meetings.
2. Coordinate the solution of the problems detected by the customer through team group problem solving methodologies and its specific format depending on the customer.
3. Administer the selection of defective material in the customers’ sites and communicate the internal selection guidelines to the Plant Quality Engineer.
4. Make sure that the actions of self-control/prevention are thoroughly applied and, if possible, they are applied to similar products/processes.
5. Know the work methods of each customer and write the documentation for its products, from the initial samples to the line products.
6. Take part in the team in charge of FMEA definition and revision, Control Plan and other needed documentation.
7. Coordinate the plant customers’ visits and audits, preparation of customers’ visits and presentations.
8. Take part in the preparation of the third-party audits, following the guidelines settled by the audit system coordinator: Plant Quality Engineer.
9. Analyze the needs of production, measurement and control in order to satisfy the customers’ requirements.
10. Suggest and execute the improvement of activities to make an annual improvement plan, based on the historical problems of the customer, potential problems and future needs detected.
11. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.
12. Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.
