Role overview
We are looking for a motivated Electrical System Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development, integration, and verification of Cockpit and Simulation Hardware systems for a next-generation military aircraft simulator.
Key responsibilities
Design, development, and integration of Simulated Cockpits, Computational Cabinets, and Control Stations
Drafting of technical documentation (specifications, design, test and verification)
Electrical design including diagrams, parts list, and wiring plans
Requirements analysis and subsystem specification
Definition of HW/SW components and subsystem architectures
Supplier management (SOW, specifications)
Test execution and system integration (in-house and on-site)
Participation in internal and customer design reviews
Configuration management using SAP PLM
Subsystem verification and validation
Mandatory technical skills
Switchboard and electrical cabinet design
Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
Wiring harness design
Use of measurement instruments (signal generators, multimeters, oscilloscopes, analyzers)
Subsystem integration (electrical, signal, software)
Knowledge of configuration and requirements management methodologies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Visio
Optional technical skills
Basic programming (C, C++, C#)
Basic knowledge of mechanics and electronics
CAD tools (2D – Autocad; 3D – Catia or similar)
Experience with DOORS, MS Project
Familiarity with video signals, field buses (CANbus, ARINC429, MIL-STD-1553), and serial interfaces
