In addition, the department is also responsible for environmental test campaign organization and relevant test facilities selections. For this department, we are looking for a: “Thermo-mechanical AIT Engineer”About the jobIn this job, you will be organizing and conducting Thermo-mechanical AIT integration and environmental test activities on complex systems such as Scientific Satellites or Orbital Infrastructure from the initial assembly phase, the environmental test campaign up to the launch:Defining the MGSE procurement technical requirementsDefining, organizing, and conducting mechanical integration activities on spacecraft (e.g. units mechanical integration, structure assembly, module mating, etc.)Preparing detailed step-by-step procedures for all mechanical integration activities and environmental test execution as well as Work Items and Reports.Performing MGSE packing/unpacking and assembly/disassembly activitiesSupporting the Mechanical AIT System Engineer in the mechanical AIT activities flow definition, detailed planning definition, and activities rescheduling when necessary.Performing co-engineering activities with other departments to define S/C configuration, accessibility for integration activities, and testing.Supporting the project engineering team in the major review with customers and subcontractors.Supporting the Mechanical AIT System in the preparation of Environmental test and Launch campaign including the relevant transport organization.Coordinating the Clean Room activities, particularly harmonizing the activities shared with other company departments (e.g. production)Performing the periodical MGSE maintenance activities and verifying that all required certificates and proof validations are fine for the activities to be performed.Supporting the alignment test campaign conduction.About YouEducation and experienceDiploma in mechanical/aeronautical or Bachelor degree in Aerospace / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering.Good knowledge of the English language.Previous experience in thermo-mechanical AIT and/or mechanical manufacturing on Aerospace systems (Satellites and Space Modules) is an advantage.Basic knowledge of the French language is an advantage.Skills and knowledgeBasic knowledge of the following computer applications:Windows-based applicable SW; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)3D CAD model managing (SolidWorks, CATIA, Dassault SW)Personal abilityAbility/attitude for “manual” work (Integration and testing set-up preparation)Capability to organize the activities with different prioritiesOrganized and methodical approachAttitude to withstand a stressing environmentTeamwork attitudeAvailability to work in shifts and over the weekend if requestedAvailability for possible long-term business travel (for environmental test campaign)We offer a permanent contract with Manpowergroup.
