Job Responsibilities
* Creation and implementation of social media strategies to promote our brand and increase customer engagement.
* Management and monitoring of company pages on major social channels, including Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn.
* Creation of engaging content, including posts, images, and videos, to promote products/services and stimulate conversations.
* Monitoring industry trends and social media metrics to adapt the strategy and achieve optimal results.
* Collaboration with the marketing team to integrate social media activities into broader marketing campaigns.
* Responding to customer inquiries and managing online interactions professionally and effectively.
Qualifications
* Education: A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field is often preferred but not always required.
* Experience: Proven experience in social media management is essential. This could be gained through internships, previous job roles, or personal social media projects.
* Knowledge of Social Platforms: Familiarity with various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) and their best practices.
* Content Creation: Ability to create engaging content, including text, images, videos, and other multimedia formats.
* Social Media Advertising: Proficiency in running and managing paid social media advertising campaigns, including knowledge of ad targeting and budgeting.
* Analytics: Strong analytical skills to measure the success of social media campaigns and make data-driven decisions. Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics and social media analytics platforms.
* Strategic Thinking: The capability to develop and implement social media strategies that align with overall marketing and business goals.
* Community Management: Managing online communities and engaging with followers/fans in a professional and brand-appropriate manner.
* Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to convey the brand’s voice and tone effectively.
* Graphic Design: Basic design skills or familiarity with graphic design tools can be a plus for creating visually appealing content.
* Crisis Management: Ability to handle and respond to negative comments or PR crises on social media.
* SEO Knowledge: Understanding of how social media can impact search engine optimization (SEO) and the ability to optimize content accordingly.
* Project Management: Effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple social media campaigns and projects simultaneously.
* Adaptability: Social media trends change rapidly, so a willingness to adapt to new platforms and technologies is crucial.
* Legal and Ethical Compliance: Awareness of legal and ethical considerations in social media, including copyright, privacy, and disclosure regulations.
* Team Collaboration: The ability to work collaboratively with other marketing team members and departments.
