We have partnered with a prestigious global steel trading house to find a skilled Steel Long Products Trader to join their commercial team in Dubai.
Main Responsibilities:
* Strategically manage steel sales to customers in the Singaporean market while exploring new value-added opportunities within South East Asia.
* Develop and achieve annual trading targets by creating effective sales tactics and strategies aligned with the business plan.
* Leverage existing relationships with producers and importers in the region to drive growth.
* Maintain a deep understanding of customer requirements, competitor activity, market trends, and supplier performance.
* Report directly to the Steel Trading General Manager.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in steel and raw materials trading in Asia.
* In-depth knowledge of INCO TERMS 2020, contract exposure, UCP 600, and marine freight.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* An independent thinker able to support growth aspirations.
* Fluency in English and Mandarin.
