Our client, a leading company in the design and construction of industrial plants through the EPCI model (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation), is currently seeking a: SENIOR PROPOSAL ENGINEER – PRODUCTION LINE Location: Preferably based in the provinces of Frosinone, Latina, or Rome Travel: Approximately 50% (domestic and international) Work mode: On-site (remote work is not available for this position) Main Responsibilities Reporting directly to the Technical Director, the selected candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the entire proposal preparation process, ensuring compliance with the project’s technical, regulatory, and commercial requirements. Key responsibilities include: Preparing feasibility studies and preliminary design drafts; Analyzing contract documentation and identifying technical requirements and applicable regulations; Coordinating internal and, if needed, external project management teams; Evaluating the investment's return and cost-saving impact for the client; Discussing technical specifications with suppliers and collecting offers for pricing; Interpreting User Requirement Specifications (URS) for accurate cost estimation; Monitoring the proposal development process and coordinating all departments involved; Supporting kick-off activities with the Site Technical Management team; Managing client relationships and ensuring compliance with schedules and budgets. Requirements Degree in Engineering or related technical disciplines; Proven experience as a designer, preferably in industrial EPCI plant projects; Proficient in 2D CAD drawing software; 3D design skills are a plus; Familiar with layout design principles, space optimization, and production cycle times; Strong knowledge of production processes and industrial project logic; Familiarity with industry standards, EPCI contractual models, and turnkey project cost estimation; Experience in supplier qualification and expediting processes; Proficient in Microsoft Office and technical software tools; Fluent in English (written and spoken); Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented; Willingness to travel frequently in Italy and abroad (approximately 50%).
