RINA is currently recruiting for a Geotechnics CAD Drafter to join its office in Genova, Italy within the Energy Engineering Solutions Division.
Mission
The CAD Drafter is responsible for preparing drawings from engineering and/or field markups for geotechnics designers and engineers. The individual will coordinate CAD for projects, perform initial drawing setup, and update project drawing lists. Assignments performed at this level on a recurring basis receive little supervision during progress but are closely reviewed upon completion.
Key Accountabilities
Drafting and Design:
1. Use drafting software, such as AutoCAD, to create detailed and accurate technical drawings for offshore and onshore projects, including alignment sheets for pipelines and subsea structures.
2. Collaborate with engineers and senior draftsmen to ensure drawings align with project requirements and standards.
Documentation Management:
1. Prepare, organize, and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, plans, and specifications.
2. Assist in maintaining version control and ensuring the accuracy of technical files.
Quality Control:
1. Conduct thorough quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards.
2. Work collaboratively to address and resolve discrepancies identified during the review process.
Collaboration:
1. Collaborate with drafting and engineering teams to implement design changes and updates.
2. Effectively communicate with team members, project managers, and other stakeholders.
Data Management:
1. Organize and maintain project data, including drawings, sketches, and related documents.
2. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in accordance with project timelines.
Technology Utilization:
1. Stay informed about advancements in drafting technologies and software.
2. Assist in the implementation and integration of new tools and technologies as needed.
Qualifications
1. Basic level of English is required
2. Knowledge of Autochart software is a plus
3. 0-3 years of experience in a similar role

High School Diploma/GED
