Job Location: Dubai Job Responsibilities : As the Vice President of Human Resources (VP HR), you will oversee the company's human capital development, encompassing recruitment, learning and development, performance management, compensation, benefits, organizational change, HR business partnering, and general administrative functions. Your role involves designing, implementing, and monitoring HR programs and policies to ensure the organization attracts, retains, motivates, and engages the talent necessary for business success. Additionally, you will anticipate and plan for long-term HR needs and trends, while managing administrative functions such as procurement. Strategic Responsibilities: Develop and execute the company's HR strategy, contributing to continuous HR decision-making. Lead the HR team in implementing policies, procedures, and processes. Ensure the effective implementation of optimized organizational structures, approved grading and pay levels, and reward schemes. Develop manpower plans and design reward systems to attract and retain high-caliber candidates. Oversee the recruitment process, including shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding. Address training and development needs identified through training needs analysis, job requirements, or operational mandates, in line with the approved career framework. Initiate and manage the annual performance cycle, including mid-year reviews and year-end appraisals, to support both business and individual success. Prepare information required for compliance and act as the primary liaison with government labor authorities and agencies on employment-related matters. Update the company's HR strategy as needed, aligning it with organizational objectives. Review and recommend changes to the organizational structure based on company priorities. Compare compensation and benefits against market practices and initiate reviews if necessary. Maintain the organizational culture and support change management in coordination with the CEO. Operational Responsibilities: Manage the annual HR budget, covering recruitment, compensation, and talent development. Implement the recruitment plan in line with the approved manpower plan. Ensure proper payroll processing and benefits administration in compliance with UAE labor regulations. Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring organizational adherence. Manage relationships with external human capital vendors, such as recruitment agencies and rewards consultants. Oversee administrative and procurement functions, ensuring high standards are met. People Management Responsibilities: Lead the development and mentorship of key HR staff. Regularly monitor and evaluate the performance of the HR team, providing coaching and opportunities for continuous learning and development. Qualifications and Experience: 15-20 years of relevant experience in a progressive and dynamic HR environment. At least 5 years in a VP HR role within a large company (over 500 employees). Experience from the aviation or airline industry. Experience in developing and implementing new procedures and processes for newly established companies. Expertise in setting overall HR strategy, including organizational design, policy development, and career path development.
