Finance Country Manager
Summary
As a member of the Country Management Team, the Finance Manager actively contributes with the
General Manager and the Management Team to achieve the short and long-term goals for the
company.
Main responsibilities
1. Collaborate, influence and motivate Management Team in order to achieve financial targetsand build long term strategic plans together
2. Manage, coach and guide the local Finance team to achieve defined objectives
3. Plan and organise the Finance function of the company taking into account both Group and Local requirements
4. Safeguard the company’s financial assets and ensures the effective and efficient use of the company’s resources
5. Identify and provide corrective actions to potentially adverse situations; make recommendations and present information to allow accurate decision making.
6. As a member of the Finance community, contribute to the definition of macro-objectives and ensure their implementation at local level
7. Promote and ensure effective collaboration between the Finance team and all other company functions.
8. Finance management
9. Organize and manage the accounting and data processing functions for reliable, timelyadministration and reporting in alignment with statutory, fiscal and group operational requirements.
10. Ensure the implementation and respect of internal procedures in order to guarantee the safeguarding and optimal use of the assets of the company. This includes strict debtor management, stock control, cash management, trade creditors, control of fixed assets, application of Group and local generally accepted accounting principles, analysis of investments in accordance with Group principles.
11. Assist and advise the General Manager in various financial and business related matters and support the decision-making process with relevant data.
12. Effectively communicate financial goals/targets and ensure accountability is assigned to the appropriate functional leader; work closely with management team in setting cost control and reduction strategies.
13. Actively participate in the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process, coordinate with various stakeholders, consolidate and analyze budgets, prepare management reports and presentations.
14. Manage financing requirements and optimize cash management in coordination with the Group treasury function.
15. Reinforce the effective use of MRP and ERP systems with internal business partners
16. Actively influence the pricing strategies of the company.
17. Work closely with other departmental managers to ensure financial strategies are aligned with the business objectives. Capital assets management in collaboration with Operations personnel, apply management principles to:
18. Evaluate capex requirements to enhance production performance
19. Review IRR for all major capital additions with documented business case scenario
20. Minimize spending risk through effective supplier management strategies and competitive quotations.
21. Understand how to facilitate team processes and appreciate the big picture.

23. Experience of working as part of/leading a team that has delivered significant change activity
24. Proven track of record in a Finance role. Combination of multinational and local big food industry is considered a plus
