We are looking to recruit a new member of staff as soon as possible: PURPOSE: The Design Engineer Hull, Marine Systems and Safety will support the team in the revision of drawings, plans and technical specifications during the plan approval process. They will keep track of the status of each project, ensuring that the Director is kept up to date on any potential issues. MAIN TASKS: Support the Director, Hull Marine and Safety and the Senior Manager Safety System in the revision of the drawings, plans and technical specification during the plan approval process. Support the Director, Hull Marine and Safety and the Senior Manager Safety System during project development, technical specification review, and preparation. Follow up open items from the plan approval process with the Yard representatives and attend meetings with the Yard technical office for open items discussion and resolution. Report to the Director, Hull Marine and Safety and the Senior Manager Safety System with reference to the progress of the plan approval, status of the open items and potential main open issues. Keep track and report the weight and stability status of the project and highlight any potential issues. Cooperate with the Vessel Operation team during the project development and plan approval period. Take part in the sea trials. Support the Director, Hull Marine and Safety and the Senior Manager Safety System during the Vessel delivery phase. EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS: Confident using CAD/MicroStation. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Proficient in the English Language (B1 or above) and Italian. Demonstrable Team Working Skills.
