Grand Hotel Timeo, a Belmond Hotel in Sicily is searching for a talented F&B Manager to join our team of passionate professionals.
Reporting to the General Manager and with a dotted line to the Divisional Director of F&B, you will be responsible for identifying and rolling out the required actions to ensure our Restaurants & Bars are operate at their full potential, providing an outstanding experience for our guests.
The scope of the role includes the design and execution of new concepts in line with the positioning of the property, the development and roll out of action plans to maximize guest satisfaction and the financial return of each restaurant and bar.
The position is based in Taormina, Sicily and the contract is permanent and full time. You must possess the legal right to work in Italy / EU.
Main responsibilities:
* Responsible for delivering the F&B related activities and in achieving or exceeding the hotel targets in terms of guest satisfaction, quality assurance and financial metrics;
* Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards;
* Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service;
* Responsible for creation and deliver of the short- and long-term F&B plans and strategies;
* Design exceptional and innovative restaurant conceptions, purchase goods, china, etc and continuously make necessary improvements;
* Identify customers’ needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns;
* Lead F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel;
* Establish targets, KPI’s, schedules, policies and procedures;
* Maintaining positive customer relationships, processing complaints, and responding to customer needs;
* Responsible for the implementation of any F&B-related projects and global programs;
* Identifies opportunities and develops solutions to enhance the performance for all F&B aspects and operation, such as LQA and guest experience;
* Guides and train the team of heads and line staff in the efficient delivery of providing the highest standards of service to our guests;
* Monitoring food and safety regulations;
* Responsible for the planning and operation of events and banquets;
* Creating, monitoring and enforcing restaurant policies, targets, and KPIs;
* Coordinate the emails and restaurant bookings;
* Leads by example and acts as a role model for others and at all times exhibit the highest levels of professionalism in all management practices;
Requirements
* Dynamic, curious and that exhibits a passion for excellence
* 5 years’ work experience in a similar role in the luxury hospitality business
* International Experience in F&B will be considered a plus
* Hotel School degree or similar
* Strong knowledge of F&B trends and best practice in the luxury F&B business
* Strong customer service skills
* Excellence written & verbal domain of English
* Ability to solve problems efficiently
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Emotional intelligence, interpersonal and influencing skills
* Organizational skills
* Guest oriented
