Adecco Life Science, specialized division of the Adecco Group, for a client company operating in the design and construction of modules, pressure vessels and heat exchangers for the pharmaceutical sector research a Sourcing Manager Job Responsibilities and tasks:Supplier base development and optimization, prequalification and management to ensure cost-effective supply with consistent quality and acceptable service & delivery levelsIdentifies, develops, and implements regional sourcing strategies to develop and optimize supply base in Europe, prequalification and management to reduce total delivered cost, mitigate headwinds, and improve security of supply and consistency of qualityUnderstands technical specifications, product performance requirements, manufacturing processes, and user expectationsCommunicate and collaborate among related function teams to effectively resolve purchasing issues and minimize interruption to project objectivesDevelops contract strategies and effectively negotiates key commercial and supply positions to the benefit of company business requirements and goalsStays abreast of industry trends for assigned categories. Provides guidance and recommendations to Purchasing team to support margin and top line growthSupplier delivery expedite after POStrong negotiation and supplier management skillsQualifications and skills requiredBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related fieldAdvanced degree in Supply Chain, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, Finance, or related fieldMore than 5 years of experience in procurement in the engineering, automation, pharmaceutical or chemical industryPrior experience in industrial or equipment manufacturing and familiar with supply base in one or more fields in Europe, such as piping, valve, instrument, construction vendor, etc.International working experience (either academical or international working environments); Fluent English is a mustDemonstrated history of leadership, teamwork, and project management skillsProven track record of driving a structured, result-oriented negotiation process and outstanding negotiation resultsWork location: Segrate (MI)Working hours: full time from Monday to Friday with the possibility of some days of remote workingEmployment Terms:CCNL for the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sector; level and RAL will be commensurate with the candidate's actual experiencePermanent contract directly with the company
