We are looking for a Business Data Analyst to join our Lido di Camaiore Team. Please note this is a 100% onsite job.
It is a crucial role in our Organization. You will report directly to the Company’s American owners, providing them with dashboards and reports regarding data on sales, usage consumption, commercial offer profitability and revenues with the aim of developing, enhancing, and managing various analytical solutions in support of business objectives.
You will also collaborate with Managers of other departments, providing them with the key data on daily sales, call center inbound and outbound traffic, sales commissions, performance bonuses, credit collections statistics.
Your main tools at work will be SQL, Power BI, Python and Excel.
Key Responsibilities
* Understand core business challenges and develop relevant solutions to campaign optimization.
* Provide regular performance trends reporting, forecasts, and maintain a tight finger on the pulse of emerging performance trends and opportunities.
* Develop predictive models to proactively manage the business, create what-if scenarios to predict future results, ultimately providing senior management with recommendations for the next course of business decisions.
* Determine what data is needed and how to consume and store this data to support reporting needs.
Requirements
* University degree or college graduate in Data Science, Economics, Statistics or the equivalent hands on experience in Data Analysis.
* 1 to 3 years of experience working with data, reporting and analysis in a quantitative business environment.
* Experience using data visualization tools like Power BI, Looker, Tableau, etc. to report on KPIs and facilitate communication of trends and insights.
* Good Microsoft Excel skills: pivot tables, calculated metrics, conditional logic, and VLOOKUP functions.
* Solid understanding of database structure and functionality is required, including schema design, join keys, deduplication approaches, and aggregation techniques, with the ability to write and execute the appropriate SQL queries that retrieve accurate answers to the questions you are asking from the data.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt language as needed to your co-workers, as well as present your data driven recommendations and defend your rationale.
* Capable of effectively managing projects, priorities, timelines, and working relationships.
* Fluency in both Italian and English.
