HyDep Srl is highly specialized in the design, testing and certification of water electrolysis systems.
The Company is set to grow, confirming its position on the market as engineering services and small-scale electrolyser provider and developing large-scale innovative electrolysis technology for the Group.
The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for developing technical documentation for both basic and detailed engineering at HyDep. The role also involves overseeing procurement from external suppliers, adapting documentation to meet project-specific requirements, and commissioning and starting up electrolyzer systems at customer sites. The Senior Process Engineer will moreover support the Sales Team by discussing technical aspects of products and solutions. Additionally, they will innovate and improve product designs for electrolysis cells and stacks, conducting energy, sustainability and safety analyses. The Senior Process Engineer will also interact with vendors in order to ensure that technical specifications are met, troubleshoot issues and implement product improvements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the production of the technical documentation for basic and detailed engineering.
Oversee procurement from external suppliers and adapt documentation to project-specific requirements.
Commission and start-up electrolyzer systems at customer sites, including both test facilities and commercial plants.
Support sales by discussing technical aspects of products and solutions, and serve as a Subject Matter Expert for hydrogen generation systems.
Innovate and improve product designs for electrolysis cells and stacks, including conducting energy, sustainability, and safety analyses.
Interface with vendors to ensure the technical specifications are met, troubleshoot issues, and implement product improvements.
Manage and coordinate internal resources of the process department to ensure optimal allocation and efficient project execution.
Experience
8+ years of specific experience as Process Engineer in engineering companies operating in the chemical industry and energy transition industry.
Advanced knowledge of the renewable and low carbon hydrogen technologies.
Requirements:
Master's degree in chemical engineering or equivalent
Softwares: Aspen Hysys; Autocad; Plant 3D; Office; Inventor
Flexibility to work from our Codogno's office a couple of days per week upon request.
