The Field Service Specialist will be responsible for conducting on-site service, repair, and installation of products or IT solutions at customer sites. This includes electrical and mechanical testing, diagnosis of system failures, and determination of the most cost-effective solution.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering or biotechnology and excellent communication skills. They will also be able to work autonomously and as part of a team, with good problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
In addition to their technical expertise, the Field Service Specialist will demonstrate a high level of empathy and understanding when interacting with customers, colleagues, and collaborators. They will be able to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical customer support and on-site assistance to customers.
* Escalate complex issues to greater levels of technical support.
* Respond to customer support calls within an assigned territory.
