The person will:
* Develop and share with the Head of Group Procurement the purchasing strategy of the relevant Categories.
* Proactively contribute to the achievement of performance KPIs defined by the Head of Group Procurement.
* Cluster the supplier base and manage the relationship based on the strategic weight that the supplier holds for the group.
* Set development goals for strategic suppliers and ensure progress (punctuality of supply, quality, service, sustainability, innovation, economic conditions).
* Be responsible for the RFI/RFQ process, select the supplier and negotiate prices/costs related to new projects.
* Scout for new suppliers where necessary.
* Be responsible for the preparation of the Negotiation Strategy and the execution of the Negotiation Process with the involvement of the interested parties.
* Finalize the contractual negotiation with suppliers of the relevant Framework Agreements.
* Share with stakeholders the performance objectives for its suppliers.
* Collaborate closely with the other Operations functions (Quality and Supply & Planning) in the event of critical supply issues.
* Process the Group Budget for the assigned purchase categories.
Where applicable, the person will also prepare the annual investment budget (Capex) for the relevant categories in collaboration with the Head of Group Procurement and Head of Process Engineering.

We are looking for a smart and passionate Group Category Manager to join our Indirect Procurement & CapEx team. The candidate will be managing various areas of corporate indirect procurement, responsible for working with multiple stakeholders and locations, to ensure business requirements and strategy implementation.
Main responsibilities:
* Manage Group-wide procurement activities for the assigned Indirect Procurement categories (i.e. IT & Telecom, Marketing, Logistics, Fleet, Travel, Facilities & EHS, MRO, CapEx etc.)
* Define and execute short- to long-term sourcing strategies, in agreement with internal stakeholders
* Collaborate with user and requester business functions to ensure and improve processes and construction of requirements
* Perform market and spend analysis, supplier selection and development, risk management
* Identify cost reduction and continuous improvement activities, standardization and simplification opportunities, Supplier base optimization
* Excellently manage tendering, all RFx, SLA, reporting and KPIs of goods/services under its responsibility
* Negotiate, prepare and manage agreements and contracts with DAB Suppliers/Partners
* Contribute to ESG activities to promote a sustainable supply chain
* Ensure transparency and compliance with internal policies, legal requirements and Code of Conduct
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Management Engineering or Economics
* At least 3/5 years of experience as Buyer or Category Manager in Indirect Procurement
* High knowledge of procurement processes, techniques and main cost drivers for several kinds of indirect supplies/services
* Knowledge of agreement templates for goods/services and its main features and KPIs
* Strong communication, negotiation and teamwork skills
* Strong work ethic and reliability
* Fluent English, both verbally and in writing
* Excellent use of Microsoft Office package
* "Rise to the challenge" approach
* Analytical aptitude
* Experience with Infor ERP and Qlik Sense will be considered a plus
