Your opportunity
Sidel is looking for a Product Support Automation Expert who will be focused on Paletizer/Depaletizer machines. The resource will be part of the Regional Product Support Back Office Team based in Parma. Being part of the RPS ECA (Regional Product Support Europe & Central Asia) is a great opportunity to work close to Sidel's products and to customers by working on both new equipments and on the installed base (I.e. improvements, evolutions, support of the services activities). Issue resolution is also one essential part of RPS mission.
Your Mission
The job takes place mainly in the officebut also with few missions onsite. In both situations the resource has to:
1. secure the operational follow up & technical support (on automation side) of all Pal & Depal products throughout the whole life of the machines
2. secure that thepopulation of colleagues (mainly FSE, ISM, PM, CCM) in contact with thecustomer are well supported through email, tickets, telephone and onsite missions
3. secure the preparation and the distributionof the appropriate documentation concerning the troubleshooting of automationissues to customers and to FSE and communicate with central product supportabout identified issues and Non Conformities.
4. execute automation RCA following issue resolution process, supporting the consequent plan of recovery and corrective actions while interacting with the other departments
Your Profile
5. Master or Bachelor Degree, or equivalent
6. English spoken and written a good level of Italian/French an advantage for yourbest local integration.
7. Mechanical skills on Pal/Depal is a plus
8. Emergency management skills, ability to interact with other teams, dynamism in managing problems with the right priority
9. At least 5 years of technical assistance, field experience or engineering inpackaging equipments (automation side)
10. Electrical fundaments (safety equipments, sensors, motion, servo drivers,inverters…)
11. Knowledge of PLC platform (specific knowledge of Siemens S7 SCL-Graph-Awl, B&R, RockwellAutomation is a plus)
12. Knowledge of HMI (specific knowledge of ZenOn, Citec and/or InTouch is a plus) and Motion platforms (specific knowledge of Danfoss,Schneider, B&R is a plus)
13. Application of Root Cause analysis methodology for issue resolution
14. Good Interpersonal skills, especially ability to communicate withdifferent target groups (technicians, customers, etc.)
