We are seeking a Carbon Capture Materials Specialist to join our dynamic and innovative team. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with our engineers and scientists to define the carbon capture materials development strategy, establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, and contribute to our cutting-edge R&D efforts. You will also play a key role in experimental research, prototypes development, and data analysis.

Launched in 2022 in Turin, our start-up gathers the skills and expertise of a team of scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs to tackle the climate crisis and lead the transition to net-zero emissions. Our mission is to develop cost-effective, resilient, and rapidly scalable technology to capture billions of tons of CO2 from ambient air.
Key Responsibilities
Define and implement the material development strategy for Direct Air Capture applications.
Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers, partners, and stakeholders in the innovative materials industry.
Select, optimize and integrate carbon capture materials with a scalable DAC technology.
Support techno-economic assessments of materials for commercial applications.
Collaborate with engineers and scientists to support prototypes development and testing.
Conduct and support experimental research and data analysis for material and process development
Qualifications
Master’s degree, or PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in adsorbent materials research, product development, and supplier engagement.
Knowledge of adsorbents and innovative materials for carbon capture or related applications is a plus.
Excellent communication and stakeholders management skills.
Experience in laboratory settings, material testing, and data interpretation.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot technical challenges in prototyping and experimental work.
Experience in bridging the gap between technical research and commercial development of innovative materials.
Fluency in English and Italian.
