We are expanding our team with a Service Engineer within our BESS After-Sales Utility and CI team in the EU. As the BESS Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing remote support, analyzing the performance of existing projects, creating and delivering training to internal teams and clients, and performing other tasks involved in day-to-day operations. You will also carry out field services, including commissioning, scheduled maintenance, extraordinary maintenance, component repairs, and testing of battery energy storage systems. Travel will be required as needed for site visits or training. Our products cater to the RESS (residential), CI (commercial and industrial), and Utility markets. Key Responsibilities: Performance Analyst: Oversee the performance of existing projects, conduct performance tests, and create reports. Remote Support: Provide remote support to internal colleagues and clients. Develop, verify, and provide procedures for various tasks. Training: Create and deliver training internally and externally, both remotely and on-site. Field Services: Perform commissioning, scheduled maintenance, extraordinary maintenance, component repairs, and testing at customer sites. Client Support: Support clients of existing projects by attending regular meetings to follow up on open issues. Health and Safety: Maintain a strong knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety best practices. Manage Service Partners: Coordinate and oversee the activities of service partners in the field as required. LTSA and Warranties Management: Manage Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA) and warranties for operational projects. Additional Tasks: Perform any other related tasks as part of day-to-day operations. Requirements: Bachelor#39;s degree in Engineering, or a related field, or a diploma in Electronics and Electrical Engineering. At least 3 years of experience in After-Sales within a site/remote support position. Experience in the BESS utility market in Europe is a plus. Previous experience working in low voltage environments up to 1500V and medium voltage environments is mandatory. Strong technical background in battery energy storage systems and related technologies is a plus. Experience in field activities including commissioning, maintenance, repairs, and testing of BESS systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate information. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues. Fluency in English is a must. Proficiency in Chinese or another European language is a plus. Willingness to travel frequently within Europe (primarily) and occasionally outside the EU. Work Environment: This position requires frequent travel to customer sites.
