We are looking on behalf of one important client, a leading global industrial and pharmaceutical company, a legal specialist whose role is to provide legal support to the Group’s business in Italy and its legal entities especially in the areas of commercial law.
Responsibilities
* Be the first point of contact and interface on all legal matters for management and operational staff in connection with the local/regional business, and independently handle both routine and complex legal services
* research and study of practices in the area of commercial, civil and administrative law in Italy and abroad
* preparation and/or review of contracts both nationally and internationally (contracts, transactions, commercial agreements, supply contracts, service contracts, etc.)
* management and control of corporate litigation in Italy and abroad (judicial and extrajudicial proceedings)
* Coordinate co-operation with external counsels on such matters
* Co-ordinate and communicate as necessary with other global and local lawyers and specialists in Legal Services, the business and enabling functions, and all other stakeholders, to deliver a high quality overall service which enables the business to meet its objectives.
Qualifications
* Education and superior qualification as fully trained lawyer/solicitor in Italy (including Esame di Stato Abilitazione Avvocato)
* 5 years of relevant post qualification experience in relevant areas, such as drafting & negotiation of contracts, commercial transactions, projects, at a law firm or internal law department
* Additional knowledge of International commercial law would be helpful
* Working knowledge of Italian, English and French legal language
* Knowledge in healthcare laws would be a plus
