Company: TrackTech Solutions (Tecnimont Services Group) Job Summary/Role Description: Site inspector within the “Maitrise d’Oeuvre” of the Operational Sites CO5 and/or CO11 of the Turin-Lyon base tunnel, in charge of supervision and control of the operations in progress of the tunnel excavation and/or excavation materials management and recycling. Key Abilities & Responsibilities: (by way of example and not necessarily exhaustive) To supervise and control work in progress of tunnel excavation, whether traditional or mechanized excavation. To control the proper operation of facilities for the production and treatment of excavated materials, including in line with environmental requirements. To collect data on workforce and machinery on site. To verify the conformity of the work with the approved and current executive project drawings. To measure the dimensions and quantities of work performed and check site accounts. To verify delivery notes and check the type, quality, and installation of materials used. To monitor the application of the Contractor's QA/QC program and documentation of any non-conformities of document control, process control, material control, and work execution. To support the Deputy Construction Manager and the Construction Manager in the contract management of the Company for corresponding works. To control that the operation of site facilities complies with environmental requirements (water treatment, noise, dust, hazardous substance containers), in support of and in agreement with the Environmental Operations Manager. All activities are carried out under the supervision and coordination of ALLTI GEIE Construction Manager and/or his Deputy. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Edil/Environmental Engineering (preferably with Geotechnical focus)/Mining Engineering, or in Geology. Experience in infrastructure projects and works with underground works and excavated materials management, with reference also to administrative and accounting management. Knowledge of French, Italian, and international technical regulations related to design, construction, and supervision of large underground operations. Knowledge of excavation techniques, with reference to mechanized excavation, and of the construction of tunnel support, consolidation, and lining operations. Basic knowledge of the French language or, at least, availability to learn it rapidly. Good knowledge of the Office package (particularly Excel). Basic knowledge and use of AutoCAD 2D/3D. Preferable basic knowledge of Primavera P6 planning software and STR VISION accounting management software. Minimum 3 years of experience. Fluent French speaker and writer.
