The resource will work on prototyping and industrialization of devices in the area of plant electrification.He/She collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to integrate electronic solutions with other industrial systems and technologies.He/She sets up and performs tests to validate solutions/prototypes, collecting data and critically analyzing results, proposing and making necessary improvements.He/She drafts technical documentation, including design specifications and test reports.Major activities include:Test set-up with preparation of hardware (e.g., wiring, electronic assembly, mechanical assembly) and device management, monitoring, and data collection software (e.g., PLC programming).3D printing of small parts useful for testing and prototyping.Research and selection of components including contacting potential suppliers.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering or related training/experience preferred.Previous experience in the field, preferably in one of the following areas: circuit design, automation systems, renewable energy, or electronics.Knowledge of electrical design software.High aptitude for hands-on activities for test execution and data collection.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.Knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.If you’re excited about this opportunity, send us your curriculum vitae via the dedicated page on our website or at simic@simic.it, with the subject line “Application: *title of position*”
