Our client, in the power management industry is seeking a Technician I to join their team.
Job Title: Technician I
Location: Irvine, CA
Pay Range: $23-$25 (per hour)
Summary of the Position: As a Technician I, you will play a vital role in supporting the operation and maintenance of equipment, systems, and facilities. You will work under the supervision of senior technicians or engineers to perform routine tasks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist senior technicians or engineers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of equipment, CNC machinery, or systems, following safety protocols.
* Perform routine inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance tasks, identifying and addressing abnormalities.
* Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using diagnostic tools, manuals, and technical documentation.
* Operate and calibrate equipment and instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability of measurements.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory.
* Assist in the setup and teardown of equipment and machinery for production runs, experiments, or testing.
* Participate in training programs to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
* Follow safety regulations at all times, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* 1-3 years of experience in a CNC technical or maintenance role, preferably in metalworking, aerospace, or industrial environments.
* Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems and components.
* Ability to safely and effectively use hand and power tools.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks.
* Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to on-call duties if needed.
* Fanuc Robotics experience.
* US Citizens.
* Technical certification or associate degree in electronics, mechanics, or industrial technology.
* Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
* Familiarity with safety regulations in manufacturing or industrial settings.
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Previous experience working in diverse teams and collaborating effectively.
