Stern Energy Spa, leading service company for utility scale and industrial photovoltaic power plants, with six subsidiaries in Europe, more than 200 employees, 2.0 GW under management, is looking for a:Technical Asset Manager – Photovoltaic Sector (Italy Area)to join its dynamic Asset Management team, for the technical management of PV plants in Italy. Engineering graduates as well as proactive candidates with experience in Technical Management in the renewable energy sector in Italy will be considered for this position.Reporting to the Head of Asset Management, the Technical Asset Manager is a member of the Stern Energy Asset Management team and is responsible for overseeing renewable photovoltaic (PV) plants in Italy. The role focuses on technical tasks carried out by the OM team, OM contract analysis, and monitoring the technical performance of the Group’s PV plants.The candidate will work in daily coordination with Italian- and English-speaking business partners and colleagues.Key Responsibilities:- Monitor PV plant performance and coordinate technical interventions to ensure optimal production and project profitability.- Prepare monthly reports analyzing plant performance and investigating deviations from planned values.- Manage OM contracts and ensure activities comply with contractual rights and obligations.- Review and assess proposals/plans for technical modifications or upgrades to the plants.- Handle warranty claims for key components on behalf of the project company.- Manage guarantee contracts for key components on behalf of the project company.- Conduct on-site verification of PV plants.Essential requirements and skills:- Degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.- Experience in technical project management within the photovoltaic sector.- Excellent proficiency in Italian and English.- Strong expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.- Teamworking skills.- Willingness to travel for business within Italy and Europe.The contractual terms for the position will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, with the goal of a long-term placement within the company team.Place of work: Parma, Italy
