Reports to: Quality Assurance Sr Coordinator

Job Purpose
This position is a direct report to the Quality Assurance Sr Coordinator.
The person on this role will help the Quality Assurance Sr Coordinator with the management of the Quality Assurance process for Shoes, Leather goods and Jewellery.
The person on this role will manage all the back-office activities tied to the quality department.
The person on this role will liaise with the external manufacturers, suppliers and with all the technical departments in JC Florence when instructed from the Quality Assurance Sr Coordinator.
Main responsibilities include:
* To check and manage the correct functioning of engineering and development procedures (conformity and TDS, hardware validation management)
* Formalize quality procedures (manuals for factories and suppliers) with the supervision of the Quality Assurance Sr Coordinator
* Manage and create quality information documents such as tolerance sheets, disclaimers and any special documentation required to support the product
* To attend the technical meetings to analyse the collection and gather all the potential quality risks
* To support the analysis of collections and decide with the Quality Assurance Sr Coordinator the TDS list
* To support the Quality Assurance Sr Coordinator with the wear test management process
* To give support to the Quality Assurance Sr Coordinator on the management of the main quality issues raised during the production process
* Develop quality specs and checklists
* To develop technical skills in quality control of Shoes/LG/SLG/Jewellery and check finished product/hardware raw materials/etc. when needed
Competencies and Experience Required:
* Demonstrable technical knowledge in similar role
* At least 2 years of experience in similar role
* Strong knowledge of English, both written and verbal
* Microsoft Excel medium knowledge skill
* Luxury brand experience
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Strong accuracy
* Good attitude to learn and use systems (QC system)
