Applicants for a Part 21 Electrical / Avionics Engineer to join our team based on Capua Plant. The successful candidate will guide the design and certification of new or existing aircraft electrical/avionic systems and demonstrate compliance with relevant requirements and procedures defined in the company’s Design Organization Handbook (DOH). RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare and execute laboratory tests, certification tests, flight tests; Consider and evaluate technical alternatives; Convert product requirements into system requirements in the technical scope; Prepare technical and certification documentation; Experienced in the compilation of engineering documentation and instructions for continued airworthiness including: Wiring diagrams. Wire routing installation drawings, and harness fabrication drawings. Service Bulletins / accomplishment instructions. Aircraft and component manual ICA supplements including wiring diagram manuals, system schematic manuals and EWIS assessments. Electrical load analysis documents. Test plans and reports. Compliance Statements. System Safety, Equipment Qualification and EWIS documents. Compliance checklists. Certification programmes. QUALIFICATIONS: Relevant experience in development, integration and certification of avionics systems, such as electronic displays, navigation, communication and utility systems; Bachelor’s Degree within Electrical / Avionics or Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering; Experience within an EASA Design Organization (or equivalent); Knowledge of EASA regulatory and airworthiness requirements; Knowledge and experience of aircraft avionic modifications; Knowledge of DO-160 environmental qualification; Knowledge of DO-178 and DO-254 on-board software and hardware development; Appointment as an EASA Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) with terms of approval relevant to the electrical and avionics.
