As a human resources admin, it will generally be your duty to support the department's human resources specialists.
Responsibilities:
* Organise and maintain personnel records.
* Update internal and external databases (e.g. record annual, sick or maternity leave, engagement forms on Jobsplus, etc.).
* Assist in the onboarding process.
* Prepare HR documents and gather new-starter documents.
* Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors.
* Answer employees' queries about HR-related issues.
* Assist in arranging employee relocations.
* Assist in payroll by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days, and work schedules).
* Create references/bank letters/confirmation of probation.
* Assist in work permit applications.
* Support Leave Management.
* Manage employee discounts and discount app.
* Participate in HR projects.
Requirements:
* 1-2 years experience in a similar role, preferred but not essential.
* Basic understanding of Maltese labor laws and regulations.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Effective English communication skills.
* A personal and empathic approach.
