Position Summary
Are you a talented Tech Lead ready to join Nestlé’s Workforce 360 Collaboration, Content and Portal Services Product team in Milan, Italy?
We need you to be responsible for the technical vision and strategy of the Content and Portal Services Product (including its applications and integration/implementation architecture) and provide the leadership, facilitation, analysis, and design required by a product or integrated chain of products.
You will also facilitate and orchestrate across teams the agile and incremental delivery of targeted business outcomes in a DevOps mode.
You will lead the technical discussions and sharing within your team and across teams, participate in sketching sessions with user experience experts, product/platform managers and business analysts, coach younger technology experts, and partner with operations to improve the continuous delivery pipeline.
A Day in the Life of a Tech Lead
* Delivers strategic consultancy and leadership, formulating and advocating for innovative technical solutions that align with business objectives for Knowledge/Content Management and Intranet/Portal use cases
* Contribute to value delivery plans and product roadmaps to meet the objectives, typically in sync with product/platform managers, solution architects, business analysts and user experience experts
* Oversee and facilitate the research, evaluation and selection of technology & the design of standard configuration
* Drive innovation by leveraging new technologies and approaches to renovate, extend and transform our existing core technology base and IT landscape
* Assists with designing governance, assurance and standards activities associated with solution & integration/implementation architecture compliance
* Apply DevOps practices and take responsibility for key design and integration decisions for systems, tools, processes and practices
* Contribute to the strategy for using technology and tools to achieve continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) for Content and Portal Services
* Leads analysis of the current technology environment to recommend solutions for improvement
* Works cross-functionally to accomplish assignments, interacting with internal and external peers and partners
* Liaises closely with suppliers, defining significant functional, technical and process integration decisions
What else will make you successful?
* 8+ years technical design, implementation, and leadership experience in a global IT team using Agile methodologies
* Experience designing products that are secure and compliant by design with strong background in technical solution architecture & design is key
* Strong expertise on Office 365, SharePoint Online and other closely linked technologies like Azure
* Knowledge or exposure to ServiceNow technologies such as Knowledge Management component is a plus
* Relevant technical expertise with other Content/Knowledge/Information Management Systems tech stacks is an advantage
* Knowledge of Enterprise Search technologies, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Conversational Bots applied to knowledge/content management solutions is a plus (e.g Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services or Microsoft Bots Framework)
* Experience with Microsoft Azure and the latest web development technologies
* Experience with Power Platform and PowerBI is a plus
* Experience leading a cross-functional team in an IS/IT delivery context, in a global environment with virtual team members and outsourced entities
* Experience working in and/or managing advisory councils, industry user groups, and key technology partners (vendors, Account Managers, Product Managers, Lab advocates and Executives) and proven ability to define Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and experience delivering them rapidly and with a high rate of IS/IT consumer adoption
* Strong experience of development life cycle methodologies (paper-based design, agile software development, rapid prototyping, lean start-up, KANBAN and DevOps)
* Experience in working with IT consumers, understanding requirements and opportunities and translating them into solutions and taste-testing minimum viable products (A/B testing, etc.);
* Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments
* Deep understanding of DevOps
* Deep functional knowledge enabling to carry the technical vision
* Strong Understanding of technology trends and leading industry analysts (Gartner, Forrester) as well as the practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies to support new and evolving business models
* Strong English communication skills applied with different stakeholders, nationalities, and mediums (face-to-face and remote)
