Job Posting Title Costing and Pricing Specialist The challenge PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The Costing and Pricing Specialist plays a crucial role in determining the pricing strategies for our products or services. He/She is also responsible to ensure alignment on all systems and processes related to the systems (SAP). This role is also key to ensure to analyze markets follow the commercial policy to avoid margin erosion due to cross-border selling. What you will do ACTIVITIES AND AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY DEFINITION AND MANAGEMENT OF COSTING AND PRICING POLICY Determine Standard Costs: Implement standard costs for products and services utilizing the current company costing policies. Develop Pricing Models: Create and implement pricing models for new and existing products & services. Ensure that pricing is continuously revised, product price list updated in order to take advantage of market opportunities and to reflect customers and consumers insights. Support the process of building/collecting sales forecast; including generating monthly financial reports and forecasts. Analyze the profitability through effective use of Margin Improvement tools and Measurements, while maintaining the TOP Line. Monitor KPI’s and perform potential business gap analysis. Reports on performance and other data related to the market and channels. Support and update new data, forms and processes related to the Hero – SAP Implementation. Implementing in accordance with the Commercial Manager, the proper commercial policy differentiated by channel. COMMUNICATION Supports, communicates and implements the local price lists. Supports, communicates and implements new commercial processes and policies to be followed. Ensures alignment of processes between Product Manager, Procurement, Planning, Order Desk and all Commercial Teams to minimize blocked orders or margin erosion. Collaborate with Teams: Work with procurement/costing, sales, marketing, and product development teams to align costing & pricing strategies with business objectives. REPORT MANAGEMENT Ensure the correct and timely exchange of information with the branches. Manage relationships with various group functions and external suppliers. What you need to succeed REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCES Education Degrees in Marketing or Economics. Professional Experience 1-2 years of experience in Marketing / Sales. Languages English, Italian, others recommended. Competences & Skills Knowledge of SAP Costing and Pricing processes a must. Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify cost-saving opportunities. Strong analytical and mathematical skills to interpret data and make informed pricing decisions. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft software (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with excellent knowledge on Excel. Good communication skills. Problem Solving. Project Management.
