Job Purpose:The role will support the Regional EHS, Director. The role entails our construction of new facilities and development of existing facilities.The incumbent will be a strategic, driven and experienced HS professional, ensuring a consistent approach is taken to HS across the construction projects.A team player approach is essential, with ambition to grow, capable of creating the conditions for both organizations and people to deliver and realize their potential.The role requires representing STACK Infrastructure and being the voice of HS Management on our construction projects. You will be responsible for fully discharging STACK Infrastructure legislative requirements as stipulated by the relevant Statutory regulations / laws.To ensure success, the incumbent will work closely with STACK Construction delivery teams and the EHS Director, Construction. Working collaboratively to deliver HS whilst enriching the wellbeing of all stakeholders and the environment.Tasks:Represent STACK Infrastructure supporting one or more assigned construction projects in the EMEA region.To lead, inspire and enable STACK Infrastructure projects in the region whilst promoting a psychological and physically safe environment.Monitor, observe and support the General Contractors to deliver HS excellence.Maintain the projects HSE Legal Registers.Provide guidance, leadership for incident management and conduct Root Cause Analysis investigations for the projects, ensuring client expectations of timescales and accuracy are achieved. Escalating where required and providing briefings to STACK Infrastructure senior management of the investigation process, as well as providing recommendations to prevent further occurrences.Maintain and promote compliance and contribute to the continual improvement of our management systemsAlign with the Regional HS plan for continued improvement in the region.Facilitate and promote project leadership HS Steering committees.Attend all other mandatory meetings, provide actions and close out as necessary.Work in collaboration and seek technical guidance from the EHS Director, ConstructionImplement a schedule of inspections /audit requirements, benchmarking each project for continued improvement.Provide analysis of project leading and lagging HS data and promoting initiative opportunities for further improvement across EMEA projectsAccurate reporting of HS performanceLiaise with external stakeholders including enforcing authorities.Work closely with STACK Infrastructure EMEA Environmental Social Governance (ESG) to drive initiatives.Present projects HS performance data to clients at scheduled meetingsCapture and encourage HS learning / innovations / initiatives to promote excellence across the STACK Infrastructure portfolio.NB: the role involves a strong presence on the construction siteJob practicalities / Skills, Knowledge, Experience and qualifications:It is required a Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture or a deploma in surveying (IT: Geometra)In country knowledge of HS legislative requirementsCandidates with CSP/CSE certification are preferredStrong negotiation skillsAbility to listenEnglish proficiency – written and oralLeadership capabilitiesCollaborative communicatorAbility to remain impartialIf you're interested, please apply here:https://stackinfra.bamboohr.com/careers/97?source=aWQ9OQ%3D%3D
