What are yourresponsibilities as Lead Product Software Engineer ?
You will contribute to the software architecture definition, working in your group but also collaborating with other teams and Software Architects. You are expected to provide technical leadership to other developers and contribute to building and maintaining the holistic view of the software solution, the product and its business requirements.
Our core software engineering department is based in Lucca where all the teams are working closely together in developing our products for our major industries such as banking, insurance, automotive and food and beverage. Every team consists of a QA engineer and 5/6 software engineers. We strongly believe in the Agile way of working and the Scrum methodology has really been embedded in our daily work. We leverage teamwork, self-organization and proactivity as the best solution comes from collective intelligence and collaborative decision-making.
1. Activelyparticipate in the product life cyclefromrequirementsdefinitionsto design, implementation, and product integration.
2. CooperatewithArchitects in the product architectureevolution, followingindustry trends,identifying options and suggestingthe right choices.
3. Master themethodologiesandtechnologiesrelatedtothe product software development life cycle, and itsenabling tools.
4. Provideguidancetothe Scrum team, continuouslydrivingqualityandproductivity, via code reviews andtechnical coaching.
5. Investigateandpropose next generationtechnologiestosolvecurrentandfuturetechnicalchallenges.
6. Maintainandpromotetheholistic view of the system.
7. Cooperateswith Product Management toaddress business requirementsandtheirimplications on architectureand non-functionalrequirements.
8. Drive and take leadershipwhentheteam is facingchallengingsituations.
Two days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday) we come together in our Lucca office to experience the value of connecting with colleagues. You will be part of our development department and report to one of the Product Software Engineering Managers

12. Solid understanding of Design Patterns, API design, and SOLID and Clean Code principles. Exposure to software development best practicessuch as TDD andRefactoring.
13. Solid experiencewith test practices, such as unit, integration, and E2E testing, andtheirautomation.
14. Solid knowledge of Relational Databases, such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SAP HANA.
