NIDEC CONVERSION looking for Quality Control Supervisor LVD production for Montebello Vicentino site. The role will arrange, assure, and supervise the quality control activities of incoming department, production department and shipment department.
As Quality Control Supervisor he will be the primary interface for the Production Manager, PCB Laboratory responsible, R&D responsible and the QA.
PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Responsible for incoming Inspection.
* Responsible for adhering to LVD assembly and testing procedures.
* Working with the supply chain to ensure quality standards are maintained.
* Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting data into quality database.
* Processing of supplier complaints, monitoring the corrective actions using the 8-D methodology.
* Registering customer complaints, analysing the complaints, making the corrective actions and solutions, and providing the feedback to customer. Closing the complaints through 8D reports to customers ensuring their satisfaction.
* Handling customer warranty claims.
* Ensure lessons learned are captured and guidance notes produced and distributed across the project and wider organization and customer network; lessons learned will address both positive and negative learning opportunities.
* Be responsible for the development, collating, monitoring and reporting of key quality metrics.
* (supplier performance, customer complaints & internal data - DPMO) and use such metrics to drive a Quality culture of continuous process improvement.
* To immediately escalate any material breach of quality or regulatory compliance matters to his responsible and to ensure that all key staff are kept fully informed with respect to all QC test results which may have an impact on batch / lot release decision.
* Keeping test equipment and measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirement and calling for repairs.
* Respect the procedures and provisions of the Quality Management System (QMS).
* Maintaining QMS documentation as per standard/guideline requirements.
* Interface between Production and R&D for any Quality issues.
* Ensure the quality checks/procedures/policies/objectives established are known, understood and followed by the production team.
* Use structured standardized problem-solving skills in a team environment, including 8D methodology.
* Support the implementation of 6S in the shop floor.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
* Master's degree in Electronics Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronic Engineering.
* Analytical mind and problem-solving skills.
* Using gauges such as callipers and micrometres to measure products.
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings (mechanical and electrical).
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Good competence in English.
PREFERENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
* Power Electronics knowledge.
* Power Control System knowledge.
* SAP user.
* Lead Auditor qualification - ISO 9001:2015.
