PositionThe Head of EHS is responsible for defining, implementing, and monitoring EHS guidelines, ensuring the correct application of health, safety, and environmental regulations through the coordination of Delegated Managers identified in specific areas of competence within the company. Collaborating with Security, Facility, Process Engineering, Operations and HR Teams, the new joiner will be responsible for the Industrial, Corporate, and Retail areas.Job ResponsibilitiesDefining EHS guidelines, ensuring the dissemination of information and training programs and the correct application and monitoring actions of health, safety, and environmental regulations;Implementing, updating, and reviewing the Management System and monitoring its effectiveness;Defining the EHS audit plan and conducting audits at company sites and suppliers;Setting, in collaboration with the Shared Services Director and Delegated Managers, the budget proposal related to EHS activities and its management;Managing the activities of external consultants involved in risk assessment, noise measurement, environmental and safety authorization practices;In collaboration with the Shared Services Director, communicating EHS monitoring results, any critical issues, and improvement points to senior management;Supervising Risk Analysis and Loss Prevention activities according to LVMH guidelines.Health and SafetySuggesting necessary improvements to prevent injury causes, while promoting the dissemination of a Safety culture in all production department, formulating intervention plans collaborating with plant managers;Coordinating the activities conducted by identified RSPPs;Collaborating with the Operations Director of the Textile Division and the Business Unit Director of the Luxury Goods Division to define procedures for the correct use of plants and machines, in accordance with current legislative and regulatory provisions;Providing general guidelines to the Retail area, directly overseeing the EMEA area and indirectly overseeing other areas.EnvironmentVerifying all environmental aspects (emissions, noise, discharges, and waste), ensuring compliance with environmental regulations in the execution of company processes and representing the company in relations with control authorities (ASL, ARPA, Province);Monitoring environmental performance, supporting company management in conducting monitoring activities required by authorization prescriptions;Providing specialist support to the Operations Director of the Textile Division and the Business Unit Director of the Luxury Goods Division in relations with public authorities, both control and authorization, for the regular conduct of production activities (licenses, permits, reports, notifications);Implementing the Group's "Life 360" project at Loro Piana, coordinating with the relevant LVMH manager and collaborating with the Head of Internal Communication CSR.ProfileDegree in technical disciplines, preferably in Environmental/Management Engineering;10 years of experience in coordinating EHS activities in multinational companies, EHS auditing activities, or strategic consulting in EHS;Knowledge of sector regulations and quality, safety, environmental, and social responsibility management systems;Strong problem-solving orientation and ability to work towards objectives;Excellent managerial and organizational skills;Excellent communication, team working and relational skills;Proficient English knowledge.
