RINA is currently recruiting for a Railways & Mass Transit Design Manager to join its office in Genoa, Rome or Naples, Italy within the International Infrastructure & Mobility Division.
Mission
Engineer specialized in the design of systems for railway, LRT and Metro.
Key Accountabilities
The Resource shall coordinate the Project Team for the activities related to the design of a railway/metro line. He/She shall work with client to ensure that their expectations are met, attending technical review meetings and ensuring design deliverables are available to those who need them, at the appropriate time.
The Resource shall support the Project Team in the review of technical documents (design reports, drawings, method statements, specifications) in the supervision of construction activities (progress assessment, compliance with design and standards) and in the preparation of reports, technical notes, tables and any other general correspondence presenting the result of the reviews, analyses and studies.
The Resource shall have proven competences in Systems Design (Telecoms, Signalling, MEP, etc.),
The Resource shall have leadership skills and work in a dynamic consultancy environment, potentially acting as a technical focal point for his/her areas of expertise.
Education
Master’s Degree in Engineering General
Qualifications
1. At least 10 years of experience in design and supervision of systems design, preferably related to Railway and Mass Transit Projects;
2. Good interpersonal skills and organizational capabilities;
3. Persistence and determination;
4. Leadership and motivational skills.

The following aspects will be considered as a plus:
• Experiences in BIM projects;
• Advanced level in English;
• Knowledge of other languages (e.g. French, Spanish, Arabic).
