WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
1. Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience and minimum of 3 years in leadership role as a HR Business Partner or HR Manager in a multinational context
2. Preferably experience in Retail Mass Market or Operational, Logistics and Supply Chain sector
3. Proven record of developing people and organization
4. Strong leadership skills and ability to influence stakeholders at different levels
5. Passionate about business and people with a strong belief in individuals’ potential
6. Good knowledge about the rights and obligations of workers and employers, and how to mediate the relationship between workers, employing entities, trade unions and the government
7. Ability to implement long-term plans according to set budgets and goals
8. Ability to work independently, take own initiatives, and be a team player
9. Demonstrate ability to use different leadership styles appropriately
10. Knowledge of identifying, assessing, encouraging and ensuring co-workers’ performance against organizational and individual goals
11. Ability to govern and manage partnership models responsibly
12. Knowledge of anticipating, identifying and developing potential successors for key positions
13. Good knowledge of Italian and English languages
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
You are a business partner and a contributor for the Unit Management Team and lead the unit People and Culture team to secure People strategies are locally implemented into action.
1. Act as a P&C business partner to the Market Manager on all People topics
2. Lead and develop the unit P&C team to provide excellent co-worker experience
3. Ensure the people strategy, global principles/guidelines as localized by the Country P&C team and relevant business plans are operationally implemented
4. Influence unit management team to continuously develop local leadership capabilities
5. Support the building of local business competence & performance by setting and working on relevant goals
6. Ensure delivery of learning & training at unit level
7. Ensure local employer communication is consistent and builds on the IKEA brand
8. Secure an up-to-date succession process and plan by influencing the managers
9. Responsible for implementation of co-worker relations plan
10. Together with the Business Navigation Manager, responsible for the distribution of budget hours between the unit departments
