Purpose of the job:
In Projects Supply Chain Leader - SLE management role, you are in charge of defining and controlling adequate inventory level of materials and the management of whole Repair Loop, in order to fulfil Maintenance Operations requirements while minimizing cash immobilization.
Main responsibilities:
1. Define and execute the Services Material planning and Inventory strategy according to customers’ needs and internal constraints.
2. Guarantee material availability through appropriate needs scheduling and follow-up.
3. Improve Services performance in terms of materials' availability and inventory management.
4. Interface with all internal and external functions to ensure that repair orders are managed and processed within the targeted time.
5. Define the order-reorder strategy to optimize inventory coverage and reduce stock-out occurrences.
6. Set parts categories (based on ABC, variability, business type, etc.) for defining planning strategy and stock replenishment.
7. Manage shipment requests, both from Central Warehouse to Customers and from Customers to Repair centres, according to Alstom procedures.
8. Assure the full traceability of broken parts to be repaired within the company SAP system.
9. Support and follow-up the warehouse team, providing all necessary information to guarantee that all materials will be shipped/delivered to Customers according to maintenance priorities.
10. Provide the sourcing department with forecasts of material needs and prioritize sources of supply according to contracts.
11. Define and implement action plans and improvements in the planning process.
12. Define and set-up MRP parameters to implement material planning strategies and ensure data accuracy on SAP.
13. Improve specific tools used for planning based on historical data and customer plans.
14. Analyze Inventory content for correcting planning strategies.
15. Define, implement and manage improvement plans regarding Inventory reduction.
16. Measure performance in Supply Chain processes and create reports for analysis.
17. Strong knowledge of SAP and other information systems to manage materials.
18. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
19. Ability in data extraction and manipulation.
20. Excellent knowledge of English language.
21. Experience in Supply Chain (minimum 2 years).
22. Good attitude towards personal relationships and Team Working.
23. Reliability, flexibility, and motivation.
