Your role:
We are looking for a motivated and passionate Sustainability Intern to join our Compliance & Sustainability Team in Bologna for a six months’ internship. Reporting directly to Woolrich’s Quality Assurance & Product Stewardship Manager, you will be actively involved
Your day to day in the team:
Collect and consolidate data related to sustainability to ensure accurate reporting in line with established standards.
Monitor and track sustainability certifications (e.g., environmental, social, or ethical certifications) for supply chain projects to ensure compliance with required standards.
Assist in the creation of documentation outlining suppliers and raw materials used by the company, with attention to factory audits, the use of sustainable materials, and other certifications.
Conduct checks to ensure that raw materials (such as fabrics and finishes) meet the required quality standards and sustainability regulations.
Collaborate in the coordination and management of analyses at laboratories to test the quality and compliance of raw materials and products.
Research regulations and standards in foreign markets (Russia, USA, China) to facilitate the company’s entry into these countries, with a particular focus on compliance with local sustainability and quality laws. Your background and skillset:
A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration (with a sustainability focus) or related fields.
Understanding of sustainable development, climate change, resource management, and corporate responsibility and basic knowledge of environmental laws and regulations.
Ability to collect, analyze, and consolidate sustainability-related data (e.g., environmental impacts, energy consumption, waste generation).
Team working attitude, strong organizational skills and priorities understanding.
Familiarity with Excel or similar tools for data analysis (pivot tables, charts, etc.)
Advanced level of English
