RINA is currently recruiting for a Mechanical System Engineering Consultant to join its office in Bolzano within the Aerospace & Defence Division.
Mission
RINA is looking for a Mechanical System Engineer responsible for requirements analysis, design, development and optimization of mechanical systems. The role involves integration of mechanical components and overseeing the entire lifecycle of the system, from concept to production and maintenance.
Key Accountabilities
Mechanical Systems Design:
* Requirement analysis, SSDD
* Develop and design complex mechanical systems using CAD software (CATIA)
System Integration:
* Ensure the successful integration of mechanical components into larger systems, collaborating with electrical engineers
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure that mechanical designs meet all functional, safety, and performance requirements
Documentation and Reporting:
* Create detailed technical documentation, including SSS and SSDD and Engineering reports
* Communication with Project Manager Office, Configuration Manager, Customer Service, and Production Engineering
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
Qualifications
* At least one year of experience in CAD mechanical design
* Technical Proficiency: Expertise in CAD software (CATIA)
* Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to solve complex engineering challenges
* Project Management: Experience managing multidisciplinary projects and working with cross-functional teams
* Attention to Detail: Precise and meticulous approach to design and testing
* Communication Skills: Ability to present technical information clearly and work collaboratively with teams
