We are looking for a Firmware Engineer graduate to join our Robotics team for a six months internship in our HQ located in Castelfranco Veneto!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Collaborate with senior team to implement and modify parts of firmware code on embedded systems;
2. Test and fix bugs in the code;
3. Perform debugging and simulations to ensure proper firmware operation.
Testing and validation:
1. Assist in writing tests to validate firmware behavior;
2. Perform tests on real electronic boards and simulators to verify code functionality;
3. Document test results and suggest possible corrections.
Analysis and troubleshooting:
1. Collaborate in analyzing issues encountered during testing and development phases;
2. Support in developing small fixes or solutions for known problems.
Support the hardware team:
1. Work closely with the hardware team to ensure that firmware is optimized for the hardware on which it runs;
2. Work with the team to identify hardware/firmware incompatibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Degree in Electronic/Information Engineering discipline.
2. Willing to work in an international, fast-paced environment.
KNOWLEDGE:
1. Knowledge of C, C++, or Python.
2. Bare metal and RTOS-based programming experience.
3. Familiar with the embedded microprocessor design process: compilers, debuggers, IDE, and source code control.
LANGUAGES:
1. Knowledge of Italian and English is mandatory.
2. A further language knowledge is appreciated.
