For a globally operating company, a manufacturer of glass production machinery and a leader in its sector, located in north of Padua with an annual revenue of approximately 50 million euros, we are seeking a GLOBAL SERVICE MANAGER with strong aspirations to take on a strategic and high-responsibility role. The ideal candidate has proven experience in the related industry and a strategic vision for managing a key business area currently undergoing development.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the selected candidate will be responsible for leading and developing the Service division, managing a team of 5 people and overseeing after-sales support activities with a focus on operational efficiency and profit optimization.
In particular, the candidate will be responsible for:
* Strategy and Leadership: Defining and implementing strategies for service development, optimizing processes, managing performance, and leading the team toward growth objectives;
* Customer Service Management: Ensuring the quality and consistency of support activities, overhauls, maintenance, and spare parts services, in line with company policies and with maximum customer satisfaction;
* Analysis and Reporting: Providing regular analysis of service performance, with a focus on continuous improvement and identifying growth opportunities;
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with the Supply Chain, Sales, and R&D teams to enhance operational efficiency and develop new business opportunities;
* Spare Parts Management: Ensuring effective and efficient management of the spare parts warehouse, maintaining stock levels and guaranteeing on-time global delivery.
We are looking for a professional who:
* Holds a diploma or higher degree in technical or economic disciplines;
* Has proven experience in managerial roles within mechanical or similar industries, with a focus on B2B service operations;
* Has advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for analysis and reporting;
* Is available for international travel.
